Well, I had a fabulous weekend. I flew out to Chicago (my home town) and spent time with some friends I hadn't seen in a long time. They are having a baby in a couple months, and they were excited to welcome me to their home and show off the baby's room. :)
While I was out in Chicago, I started and finished the book "The Moses Code." I must say the book is quite awesome. If any of you have read or seen "The Secret", this book takes the concepts of the law of attraction and builds them to a new level. I won't spoil the book by talking about the process or details in the book. Read it, and if anybody would like to chat or debate, then I'm game :). Unfortunately, I feel that the overall idea is great, but some of the supporting details from the Bible are a bit misunderstood by the author of the book. Especially when it comes to the relationship between Moses and God, the miracles performed by Jesus and the author's definition of religion v/s spirituality.
Some of you know, others may not, that I am not a full-time hypnotist. I see clients part-time when I can schedule them. My full-time job is in technology sales engineering. About a year ago, I was about ready to jump ship from my "day job" and do hypnotherapy full-time, but my situation changed a bit and I stayed in the 'tech' field. Lately I have been more and more unhappy with my full-time job, especially when I see clients or teach 7th Path.
Now, I must focus on the right ways to build my hypnosis business. I certainly don't have the answers yet, but I'm sure that when the time is right, God will reveal them to me.
That's all for now.
